Canon PowerShot D10 - underwater camera

...So a small tough manual compact would be the ideal caving camera.

Not quite a fully manual u/w compact, but the closest i've seen...

Anyone used one of these or got any opinions on it? Or should I just consider one of the other (non-rugged) Powershot cameras and use it 'carefully'?

My current camera, whilst water/shock-proof and still working after all those years of abuse is past its best, bulky, lacking in quality and in need of retiring! I've been dithering for ages trying to find something (small compact, don't want SLR even though they are very good!) that might work with my Firefly 2, although a while back I resigned myself to either using long shutter or upgrading the slave.. :(
