Penwyllt Car Park Gate
« on: August 26, 2009, 11:55:06 am »
SWCC's tenant, Gareth Evans Snr., has kindly agreed to let his sheep loose on our camping field (the garden) to cut the grass for us. In order to do this he will be shutting the gate into the car park (to stop the sheep escaping across the quarry), so if you arrive at Penwyllt to find the gate shut then please close it immediately behind you.

Gareth will only be letting the sheep in midweek, and will be moving them out in good time for the regular Friday night influx of cavers, so there will be no inconvenience to members or visitors at weekends.

Your co-operation is appreciated.

Are the sheep being moved out for their own safety?

Wot with cavers and wellies etc.
one day it will be worth the effort!
