« on: October 12, 2009, 01:59:25 pm »
EPC newsletters are in your email inboxes. Those who have them posted will get them later in the week. If you can't wait for Royal Mail they're online in the member's area at: http://www.eldonpotholeclub.org.uk/restricted/newsletters.html

Cheers,
Jules.

Hi Jules

Any chance of putting them on an open website, so that the great unwashed can view them?

Regards - Tony

Newsletter 2009_03 which covers the third quarter of 2009 is now available. Has been emailed out to most members and those who get printed copies will receive them in the next week or so. If you don't receive it for some reason let me know.

Jules.

Newsletter 2009_04 covering October to December 2009 has been emailed out and added to the members' bit of the website. If you thought "that mong in his pants" was distasteful wait til you see Editor's photo corner this time which plumbs new depths!  :)

No problem! Just whilst I'm on here can someone (Big Jim?) explain what went wrong between Big Cardiff Bat Jim being snapped removing that girl's underwear in the pub and then turning up at Titan with a load of men? ;)

Apart from Newsletters the Eldon has an excellent record of putting out first class Journals. Just out of interest, is there any talk of another one at some stage? You must have loads of stories to tell.

Hi Pitlamp,

I have thought about this but I'm not sure that we really have much additional stuff to put in a journal that isn't in the quarterly newsletters. I guess we could summarise stuff in a journal and write new stuff but not really on the cards at the moment.

The thing that does niggle at the back of my mind though is an attempt at a history of the Eldon before some of the old boys start to forget stuff. I'm going to try to make time for that over the next twelve months or so (anyone else interested in working with me on that?).

Jules.

I'll help with the Eldon history Jules - I made some good contacts while organising the 50th Anniversary Celebrations...

Er, think you'l find it was 2 blokes and a lady (her of the finest backside in caving circles) :spank:
And, I was removing a certain member os SUSS' underwear - I was putting her bra back on after dirty old Toogood had ripped it off with his (false) teeth

The Eldon has members who can remember the 1780s?

Wow!  :o
