Two major cave systems of Northern Ireland connected
« on: December 26, 2009, 09:11:52 pm »
Hi,

Please find below a link to my reports that summarise the work of last two and half months which resulted in the connection between The Marble Arch System and The Prod's Pot/Cascades, constituting the longest cave system in Northern Ireland ~8.9km :read:.

Forgive the unavoidable banters, main reports are on pages 1 and 3 :

cheers

Well done that cave diver!

(I have a suggestion for a site in Co. Clare that might interest you when it gets a bit warmer/dryer)

Congratulations. Sounds like some necky diving, but bloody good effort and well done.

I really wish I was brave enough to do cave diving, it seems a fantastic way to explore new passages. Oh well I will have to keep trying my way i.e. a trowel, it is at least cheaper then all that diving gear.

Good work in making the connection.
