EPC Titan/JH/Peak trip
« on: January 03, 2010, 06:53:06 pm »
Once again that went rather well I thought!

Four teams did Titan to Peak
One team did JH to Peak via the White River series
A team went down JH and exited Peak
A pair went down JH and exited Titan
A team went in Peak, up Calcite Aven, the Vortex pitches, the Ride of the Valkyries and then de-rigged Titan (sorts lads out...!)

Thanks to Sam Pemberton for a great job with the organising of it all! We had a great trip down Titan and out of Peak. The mint imperials available on the Event Horizon were a nice touch I thought courtesy of Aquamole Jim

Lovely day on the surface so the walk to Titan and JH in the snow was great! Hope everyone else had a good day.

Jules.

was good Jams and I ended up going back out of JH in the end so that we would'nt get cold at the bottom or top of titan. Good trip.

seems the people you need to speak to are either Jim Lister, who put the keys/lock in the yellow box on the way down, or Rob Eavis who took em out again and locked the lid prior to walking down.

Folks, are we talking JH keys, Titan keys or Peak keys going missing? Have they turned up now?

Titan Keys...Thought i'd clipped them to my harness after locking up but can't find them now. I went up to Titan last night and i can confirm that they are either under 1 or 2 meter of snow!  :wall:

Just a quick update, the lock has been changed and the new keys are now available through the normal access routes.

If any parties up there find a set of small keys, tied to a 2mm blue cord, laying on the floor please can they return them with the current keys. Last night there was still +1m deep snow in the shakehole!
