The British Caving Library (BCL) will have a stand at EuroSpeleo2016 where we will have our "Lucky Dip" boxes for cavers to root through and take away items for their own collections or for Club Libraries.
BCL is now a combination of several caving library collections, most of which were not catalogued at all or had only out-of-date catalogues. We are now gradually re-cataloguing the whole of the British Caving Library and, as we do so, are sorting out and extracting duplicates copies of books and journals which we do not want but would like to pass on to other cavers.
If you would like to take an item from one of our "Lucky Dip" boxes, we would welcome a small donation, which we can then put towards the purchase of more books for the Library.
