Cave Rescue/ Emergency Services Museum

The Police and Fire Museum in Sheffield.

The Museum is telling the story of the Emergency Services and have some brilliant displays of vehicles and equipment.
Most of the Emergency services are represented except Cave Rescue, what are people's thoughts? They were thinking of a few information boards informing the public what Cave Rescue do and its history, and a display, possibly using manakins in caving equipment? Any Ideas?

Sounds a good idea, maybe a few rescue descriptions / reports. Get a screen and show some rescue footage, hauling etc?

The screen is an great idea! It will cover more than just the information boards and the sound will make the display accessible to visually impaired people?

The back wall could have a fibreglass backdrop so it looks like a  cave? A stretcher and attendant could be suspended from the ceiling?
A step up from the coast guards boson chair display ? 😉
Hay phone or Nickola comms set and operator below ?
Any way only Ideas it's not my project

Maybe on some weekends, if it can be arranged, allowed and volunteers available, get the BCA cave there so kids can have play in it and this may encourage them to try caving in later life.
