British Cave Rescue Council Conference 2017
The programme and preparations for the BCRC Cave Rescue Conference 2017 are now well advanced.
The conference takes place over the weekend of 16-18 June 2017 and is hosted by the South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team at the wonderful setting of the South Wales Caving Club HQ in South Wales. There is now a full programme of lectures, workshops, above-ground demonstrations and below-ground exercises in Ogof Ffynnon Ddu which has been posted on the SMWCRT website at http://www.smwcrt.org
Accommodation will be available in the SWCC Penwyllt cottages, the camping field for tents, and with parking available for camper vans. If you want to stay in a bunk bed, we advise early purchase of your ticket since bed numbers are limited. The conference dinner and entertainment on Saturday night will take place in Cathedral Cave with kind permission of Ashford Price, Dan yr Ogof Show Cave.

Only beer and optional breakfast bacon and egg rolls require additional payment. The separate 'Saturday Delegate' and 'Sunday Delegate' tickets are for those who do not want to stay overnight at SWCC Penwyllt or attend the conference dinner and includes the conference pack, tea - coffee - biscuit breaks, sandwich lunch. The optional ' Dan yr Ogof Conference Dinner and Social Event' ticket may suit those who purchase one or both day delegate tickets but live locally and want to participate in the conference social event without paying for accommodation.
