It might be worth contact the Alberta speleological society in Canada to see if they have anything, I have caved with quite a few guys out in BC and they all seem to tell some amazing stories of Boon and his exploits, both caving and none caving alike. There is a guy out there call Drummond who I believe has done Castle guard quite a few times if you can trace him.
