It was a long day of filming, 9am to 5pm almost non-stop, for the BPC mid-week security team.

The Director was very pleased with the day, said it was one of the best shoots he had been on.

A great deal was filmed and we had no idea what would be featured in the final piece, until this evening. A lot got left on the edit room floor, presumably to allow sufficient air-time for an ex Spice Girl. It was the same last year with The Frozen Deep when Roger Moore took the lion's share of the One Show.

A shame they left out Ged and Fred who had kept their Born Again Limestone Losers Society to Craven Pothole Club T-shirts clean specially for that day when driving the winch.

At least we got some British caving footage in front of the general public.

What they showed was good, pity there wasn't more of it.

At least, we were spared the usual drivel about how dangerous caving is ? even on a descent of Jib Tunnel.

I thought it was very good and showed caving in a good light no pun intended.

9-5? sounds like a half day for a film shoot!
