I know its the Daily Mail, and could be ancient news, but it might be of interest to the mining enthusiasts.

The sad part of this is that he, and the report just keep beating on about the monetary value!  :-\

Sadly, the 'historical value' of these things usually lies in the context in which they are found.

That is pretty much destroyed when the 'treasure hunter' digs it up.....

My money is on a pig from the Charterhouse workings. One such was found near Green Ore many years ago.
