Altitude: 5m
Located about 5m up from base of 100m chalk cliff at Beachy Head. The cave is inconveniently positioned with regard to the tides, and it is very easy to get cut off by the tide.
Access
Site is classified as a SSSI.
Description
357m long phreatic conduit formed in chalk.
History
It was explored by Chelsea Speleological Society over six visits in 1980. Since then, cliff falls have created two new entrances.
