Description
The water in Ogof Cefn y Gist, despite its proximity to the World’s End springs about 1km to the south, makes its way north eastwards into the Pool Parc system.
Loose, shored entrance leads via low duck to small chamber. Passage descends for 60m to where stream sinks amongst boulders. Just before, there is a short draughting passage on the left. Main passage continues for about a 100m with two passages to the right. First passage is 200m long with formations leading upwards to a point near the surface judging by snail shells and peat.
Second passage is muddy and thrutchy with some thin seams of coal. A downwards hole leads to the stream which is soon lost in boulders.
