Note: It is best to park at the large layby in the village as other more convenient locations, such as by the Substation, have been been known to attract vandals and thieves in the past.

Pubs and Cafes
- "Lovers Leap Cafe" In the village which was a well-known haunt of climbers and cavers in the past but after a period of being closed has re-opened and is now more up-market.
- There is a chip shop nearby.
- "Outside" at Calver Crossroads, which sells Walking and Climbing equipment, has an excellent cafe very handy for Stoney Middleton.
- "The Moon" is a convenient pub in the village.
