Should clubs be arranged by region?

bubba

Yes, I think so...

CaveTroll

But why should University clubs be stuck off the bottom?

In reply to CaveTroll: The problem began on the Mendip page, which had a link which said something like "for (mendip) clubs see Cave Clubs". So when this link was followed, it gave the impression that every club is a mendip Club. I tried to organise the Club page by adding regions, which made more sense. I dindt quite know where to put Sheffield Uni, so I added the Uni Clubs heading.

It might make more sense to go back to the Mendip page and and correct the "for (mendip) clubs see Cave Clubs" internal link. Then the Cave Clubs can be put back into alphabetical order without regions? Martinr ??

You could split the page by primary caving region. Then Sheffield would be under the Derbyshire heading (I guess), the UBSS would be Mendip etc. Thus allowing you to remove the University section all together. Hmm, not so sure about Kent.

Or split the country by Regional Council.

Maybe some sort of "flag" against the Club's name signifying they provide accomodation would be useful for those visiting an "away" caving region? Paul 12:52, 17 October 2006 (BST)
