Talk:Man-made underground sites

Please bear in mind that many mines are listed as caves. Certainly in some regions like the Peak District, most "Caves" have an element of "mine" in them. Mine shafts intersected with many natural caves and most cavers in this region do not really distinguish between the two. CaveTroll 03:31, 12 October 2006 (CDT)

Could we consider changing the name of this page to something like "Man-made underground sites"? The current title is a bit of a mouthful and not particularly enlightening! :-)

Change the title to what you want Rhys :)

I realise that the cave/mine thing may cause problems, not sure how this should be resolved?

Done! Cheers Bubba.

Cave/Mine

The two options I suppose is to have mines in with the caves, or to have a parallel hierachy for mines under 'Man made underground sites', probably with mines 'traditionally' listed in caving guides appearing in both hierarchies.
