- Gaping Gill - Main System:
- Bar Pot (III) P - The easiest and most popular route into GG (safe in any weather)
- Corky's (III) - Heavily engineered new entrance with good final pitch
- Disappointment Pot (IV) P - Hardest of the classic routes, the wet squeeze and duck put many off
- Flood Entrance (IV) - Classic alternative route
- Henslers Pot (V) P - Superb but non-trivial new addition to GG
- Jib Tunnel (Dihedral) (III) P - Possibly the best pure SRT route in the Dales
- Main Shaft (IV) P - 100m free hanging descent, bottom third is very wet
- Marilyn (III) - New alternative to Disappointment Pot, which avoids the ducks
- Motley Pot (IV) - Upstream entrance to Disappointment Pot - currently blocked
- Rat Hole (IV) P - A splendid SRT route with unusual rigging
- Rat Hole Sink (IV) P - The upstream entrance into Rat Hole
- Small Mammal Pot (IV) P - Interesting alternative to Bar Pot (safe in any weather)
- Stile Pot (IV) - Alternative tackle-free entrance into Small Mammal House (safe in any weather)
- Stream Passage Pot (III) P - Another classic which includes three great pitches
- Wades Entrance (III) P - Easier entrance into Flood Entrance
- Grange Rigg System:
- Christmas (III) P - Nice SRT route dropping into the well decorated main streamway of Grange Rigg Pot
- Grange Rigg (IV) - Very good trip with a bit of everything: pitches, water, crawling, walking, climbing and formations
- Pay Sank (III) - New quick entrance into the farthest reaches of Grange Rigg

- Beck Head - The resurgence - divers only
- Beck Head Stream Cave (II) - Superb stream cave
- Fox Holes (IV) - Obscure back entrance
- The Show Cave Entrance (IV)
- Hurnel Moss Pot (III) P -Straightforward SRT with a big, dramatic final pitch
- Jean Pot (IV)
- P5 (V) - Nasty tight entrance series, leading to bigger and better stuff
- Car Pot (IV) - Baptistry Crawl protects some fine formations
- Clapham Bottoms (III)

- Sunset Hole / Lower Sunset (III) P - Popular beginners trip down a clean-washed streamway
- Meregill:
- Meregill Hole (IV) P - Superb trip to the bottom. One of Yorkshire's finest
- Little Meregill (V) - Very tight alternative entrance
- Aven Entrance (IV) - Popular alternative entrance, harder but less weather dependent than the original
- P101b (III) - Ends half-way up the wall of the big surface shaft of Meregill hole
- Black Shiver (V) - Classic deep Yorkshire pot with more to offer than SRT
- Great Douk/Middle Washfold (I) - Excellent beginners or children's trip
- Hardrawkin Pot (III) P - Archetypal Yorkshire potholing
- Knacker Trapper (III) - Tight and hard for its grade
- Roaring Hole (III) - Boulder chokes and pitches lead to a wet final streamway
- Southerscales Pot (III) - Strong kneepads recommended

- Birkwith Cave (II) / Coppy Gill Exit (III) - The main cave to the canal is a simple beginners trip. The canal requires inflatable flotation
- Calf Holes / Browgill (II) P - Great beginners through trip, starts with a simple abseil
- Coppice Cave / Ling Gill 7 (III) - A through trip for the connoisseur
- Old Ing / Dismal Hill (III) - Enjoyable and varied through trip
- Red Moss Pot (III-IV) - Very good horizontal trip with good formations and lots of water

- Magnetometer Pot (III-IV) - A fantastic, long trip with two pitches and some superb streamway
- Hammer Pot (V) - Tight rifts make for a very tiring trip to the bottom

- Dale Head Pot (V) - The Dig Climb has been rescaffolded making access safer

Malham Area Map
- Pikedaw Calamine Caverns (III) - 20m entrance shaft leads to roomy chambers and interesting mined areas. Good for a wet day
Penyghent Area Map
- Hunt Pot (III) P - Dramatic entrance shaft leads to less satisfactory caving beyond
- Hull Pot (II-V) - Huge surface shaft 90m x 18m x 18m deep. More popular with walkers than cavers
- Little Hull Pot (IV) P - Good trip with three pitches, and a bit of crawling
- Penyghent Pot (V) - Eleven pitches (some free-climbable) to the sump - potholing at its best
- (Friday 13th Extensions) - A hard trip starting from the bottom of Penyghent Pot
- (The Living Dead Extensions) - Makes Friday 13th look easy. The hardest trip in the Dales?
- Sell Gill Holes (III) P - Choice of two SRT routes lead to the main chamber, recent extension continues further and deeper
- Penyghent Long Churn (III) - 3 pitches to the bottom
- Jackdaw Hole (II) - Prominent surface shaft next to the path, with some passages leading off

- Thistle Cave (II) - Easy through trip in two sections with tight exit
- Runscar (II) / Scar Top (III) - Runscar is a pleasant through trip for novices. Scar Top is a bit harder
- Roger Kirk (III) - Good through trip, including the wet 'Tube'

- Alum Pot and the Churns:
- Main Shaft (III) P - Spectacular 250' surface shaft
- Lower Long Churn (III) P - Very popular for beginners, joins the main shaft lower down
- Upper Long Churn (II) - Excellent simple beginners trip
- Diccan Pot (IV) P - A big, wet, vertical route; one of the best of its kind in the dales
- November Hole (III) - Short but very awkward through trip, not to be underestimated
- Borrins Moor Cave (III) - Several entrances into a network of shallow horizontal passages
- Fell Close South Cave (III)
- Washfold Pot (V) - A good trip to the bottom, easy for its grade
- Wilson's Cave (II)

- Juniper Gulf (IV) P - A classic Yorkshire Dales pothole, with a stupendous final pitch
- Nick Pot (IV) P - Contains the deepest underground pitch (Vulcan) in the Dales

- Quaking Pot (V) - Tight, hard and tiring. One of the hardest trips in the region
