Description
Length: 1550m
Liable to severe flooding.
The largest cave so far discovered on Gower. A 5m pitch drops into a small chamber followed by a crawl of 260m which leads to a stream passage which is about 830m long upstream eventualy leads to a sump as does down stream. The lower sump sometimes dries out and gives access to more passage. The flooding of this cave suggests that it is an overflow for a larger, so far, undiscovered system.
Dye tested to Well Head Rising in Parkmill.
Access
Gated and locked. Keys held by SWCC.
