Hello forum-dwellers,

The biggest event in the Irish student caving calendar is upon us: THE FORUM!

We regularly have at least a carload of UK cavers over, so you're welcome to come along! Kilty is a 2.5 hours drive from Dublin Port and just 2 hours from Belfast.

When: 14/4 to 17/4 (Easter weekend)

Where: Kiltyclogher holiday centre, Kiltyclogher, County Leitrim

Important to note: on the 14th (Good Friday) no alcohol can be sold in the Republic or Ireland (offies and pubs are closed), so either get your booze in Northern Ireland or get it on Off Licence Thursday (the Thursday before Good Friday ;-))

Ticket Prices: Early Bird- ?55 (?57.50 through paypal)

The Irish Student Caving Forum is the yearly get together of all the college caving clubs, for better or for worse, and this year its UCD's turn to host it! Since it went so well last year (except for the brutal destruction of a garden gnome) we've decided to return to Kiltyclogher for a sequel.
Expect the usual carry on, with raffle prizes, goodie bags, a chance to buy some new shiny gear, a fantastic talk or two, a pub quiz and hopefully a caving themed gumball challenge!
Tickets can be bought either in person with cash from any committee member, or through paypal which will be ?2.50 more expensive to cover charges, and If neither of these options suit you, contact us at caving@ucd.ie and we will sort you out.

I know right? :-D
Everyone gets shitfaced on Good Friday anyway, it's just that you have to have the forethought of buying your booze on the Thursday!

The good news is that Kilty is literally on the border, so the nearest open offy in the North is only a short drive away.

AAAND if you lovely Britishes take the ferry over, then non-drivers can get shitfaced on the ferry, even on Good Friday! Woohoo!

Last year the goodie bag included a bottle of the world's worst homebrew, the "get rekt boi", I'm unsure what horrors UCD have in store for us this year, but I can guarantee it won't disappoint, so lads get organising, and I'll see yous all there :)
