To raise money for the Village Institute, Sue and I are presenting a talk on some of our trips over the last decade or two...
From Ingleborough to Vancouver Island, it's a tale of cordless drills, diving gear, helicopters, bears (beers?), cougars, lumberjacks, an incompetent Spanish cave diving vet, how the World can be explored using bog pipe and Araldite, and scurrilous tales about some of caving's more colourful characters. A couple of hours of mutual mickey taking with some cave exploration thrown in, some award winning photos, and refreshments in the interval; what more could you want?
Langcliffe Village Institute, Langcliffe (just outside Settle). Saturday 19th June. 7:30pm
Entry is free, but donations to the Institute will be very welcome. In fact they will be extracted forceably before you can leave ;-)
