Trying out one of Neil's Wisdom Lights for his Cavefest review, the very focussed beam reflected back at me from something shiny in the mud, that my Scurion had never picked up...

I dug away the mud to discover the head of what looked like a Petzl Zoom. I grabbed hold of it and pulled it out, only to discover that it was in fact a Petzl Micro.

The Mendip clay seems to have preserved it, after a quick rinse, it looks practically new. The contacts were badly corroded, but a soak overnight in coca cola and even they look ok now.

Any guesses as to what decade it might have been dropped?
