I think they are misguided. It has very little chance of connecting to Ogof Draenen.

Viz tip: Invent an enviromental cause centering on your proposed dig site and publicise it if you want it dug for you.

I worked on Manchester airport second runway. One of the protesters dug a tunnel under the River Melling. When he emerged on the other side, he left. It was an impressive bit of work.
