Can any body confirm that the ropes are still in place for the alternative high level route around Well pitch??, thinking of doing the round trip and would obviously save time and effort if these are in place, they were still there last time I was in about a year ago

If its the same rope from when I was there last (2 years ago) I definitely recommend bring your own, the rope was badly damaged in two places back then.

I was talking about the rope down from Jupiter. The well pitch alternative was looking okay last I was there, but again its been a while.
