Just remembered to post this. A few weeks ago we had an aborted trip down this cave due to several dead sheep that appeared to have possibly been dumped in there (the lid was in place). Basically the stench is over powering and none of us could get down it without gagging so I recommend no one visits this cave for at least 6 months to let them decompose.
