Here you will find lots of frequently asked questions about caving which may prove especially useful for non-cavers putting together any kind of media item (article, website, poster, talk, flier etc), especially those intended to promote the sport of caving in some way.

We also include lots of useful links and an image gallery. This gallery contains a starting catalogue of twelve excellent, eyecatching and varied photos portraying the best of northern caving, courtesy of Mark Burkey, Clive Westlake and Gary Douthwaite. They are freely available for anyone putting together any kind of media intended to give a positive reflection or promotion of caving.
