Some short footage cut from hours of footage from the trip taken on my gopro, I have sped up the abseils to shorten the clip, you can make fun on me using the hyper bar on the Harwoods descent but being my largest abseil and being first down I thought it would be safer and turns out it was worth it as the rope was knotted up (I was afraid of burning though the rope if I needed to stop on a faster descent, video here: http://youtu.be/4qum0cwWLeg (turn the sound up))

Lots of variety - Pitches, Pretties, Water - and......seals!

Am sure I've been on that beach too, thanks for posting  (y)

Did you hear about the rescue when somebody did burn entirely through the sheath?

yes, it is well know and some of our local contacts were involved in their rescue. Climbing ropes and figure 8s apparently and no way to ascend, asking for trouble. You cannot see over the edge so there was no knowing if the rope was knotted or not, turns out it was, worked out ok, I wasn't looking forward to climbing back up

Would have liked a Harwood's trip. I am told it is excellent. I might be out in WA again in a year or so;s time.

Harwoods is excellent, hard walk back out but worth it. We have a conference in Exmouth in June, caves there are some of our deeper caves but are warm even in winter, shorts and t-shirt, no trog suit

I was originally going to the Exmouth bash as we have friends out in Fremantle and one of them is a keen diver. However NZ got in the way of our plans so perhaps 2016?

oh awesome, would like to upload all of the footage but its a couple of hours worth so its going to be bluray and dvd only but next time I head back there I will be focusing more on photography and filming the trip instead just a gopro on my head as I missed a lot of great stuff
