Selfie Stick/Light Boom.

The Old Ruminator

Over the course of the last few days filming I have come to realise how useful a back light or up light is for simpler cameras like the TG Series. So being a retired old gentleman who likes furtling in the shed I came up with a light boom and camera selfie stick.

Up lit stal formation.

Underwater lighting from Sky Ray LED torch.

I already had the multi purpose camera swivel mount and clamp so mounted it to the detachable head of a telescopic painting pole from Screwfix. Clearly the light and camera are both unlikely to be used at the same time. ( might be worth a try though with reflected light. )

The plastic detachable head comes with the pole so the assembly can be carried in a bag or box.

The extendable pole up to 8 feet. In the Screwfix catalogue for less than ?30.

More fun to try out down the cave.
