Nova light for sale

Well, I've got a Petzl Myo which is fab. I haven't used my (beloved) Speleotechnics Nova for months and months so praps it's for sale.

Boxed, complete. Nova (used - it's had a life, unlike me!) plus speleotechnics headlite batteries (x 2) plus speleotechnics chargers x 2. Whad'ya reckon? Anyone got an idea what it's worth? I know what it cost me!

I'm not going to Ebay it `cos I can't be arsed. First reasonable offer will be accepted. It's an original one - i.e. not a blue slide switch; 5 (or is it 6) levels, magnetic reed switch.

I'm off out for a bit.

You're right it's not a "proper light".
A proper light would be a decent ceiling burner with a 21ltr jet powered by a Fisma generator. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Personally I would keep the existing batterys/charger for the nova 5 and buy a nova 3, waterproof, tougher and much better then the xp myo.

Hmm, just got back and find the batteries aren't taking any charge at all; although the Nova works fine running off a mate's speleo headlite here. So, revised "for sale": one Nova, boxed; used.

Anyone? Bueller?... Bueller?....

The Myo works underwater and when wet therefore it's "waterproof" as far as I'm concerned.

Define "proper light".

If it works (underwater), is reliable, is fit for purpose and is powerful enough to warrant being designated as a Class 2 Laser then I'm happy to cave with it. It weighs nothing too so my neck muscles no longer resemble those of Mike Tyson.
