So the council can just evict you from your own home, steal your home and charge you money for doing so...  seig heil seig heil seig heil.

Seems so, however he had probably dug away the foundations, and maybe even under a main road....then again when he died, he owed the council over four hundred grand :LOL: serves'em right, bloody do-gooders.

I reckon you'd probably want somebody to do something if you lived next door to him and he was undermining his house, your house, and the road!
