NAMHO Conference 2021 - 2nd to 5th July 2021 at Norbury, Shropshire
This note is just a final reminder that the early bird rate for the NAMHO Conference will finish on Monday 31st May. The full conference rate will then increase from ?25 to ?30 per delegate. If you have booked for the event already, but not yet paid you will also need to make payment before the end of the month.
Full details of the talks, surface and underground trips can be found at: http://namho.org/conf2021/confpages/conf_home.php
Underground trips
At the present time there are still some places available for underground visits (it?s about 70% full) with trips being arranged to over a dozen mines during the four days, plus surface visits to several more locations.
Unfortunately, we are restricted to 10 Temporary BCA Memberships to cover insurance requirements for underground trips, and these have now been taken up. Therefore, either individual BCA or underground coverage through Club/organisation membership will be required. You will need to provide your BCA number when booking.
Lecture Programme
We have currently set the lecture hall capacity at 50 persons for each half day session. There are approximately 20 spaces still available for both days. Given recent developments with the Indian variant of Covid this may need reviewing at a later date. Alternatively, the lectures can be viewed on the day as a Zoom Webinar and options to sign up for attending from the comfort of your own home are also available. Once again, there will be a limit on Zoom numbers, so please book now to avoid disappointment.  Details of the programme of individual talks are available on the website.
