Hi all,
Because there is so much going on in this forum I thought it would be nice to show you some examples of large-scale clean-ups here in Belgium. For such scale of actions an organisation on a federation level is required. The clubs in Belgium are too small to do this on their own. So the clubs joined forces and organised these action under the wings of the UBS (Union Belge de Speleologie) and other organisations.
The clean-up of the "gouffre the Belvaux"
http://www.crlesse.be/realisations/realisations-2013/57-nettoyage-du-gouffre-de-belvaux-11-12-et-13-octobre-2013

The only thing what I wouldn't have done is the fire so close. But that was a trade off. If they would have to haul everething up then it wasn't impossible within the timeframe of 3 days to complete the clean-up.
You can also find other examples on the site by year.
The clean-up of "Grotte Sainte-Anne" (2012-2015)

Some write ups about this clean-up

Hope this encourge other cavers/organisations to start with clean-up and conservations. Never let the scale be a problem
