This is obviously Bristol University Speleological Society (now normally referred to as UBSS = University of Bristol Speleological Society)).
In Wessex circular 37 (September 1938) there is an entry:
Tuesday Nov. 22nd. Joint Meeting with the Bristol Spelaeological Society. Speaker, J. W. Duck.
In Wessex circular 39 (November 1938) this becomes:
Tuesday Nov. 22nd. Combined Meeting with the B.U.S.S. "Cave Surveying" by J. Duck.
