Crook Peak Caves

I decided that they might impinge upon pub time so did not plan to visit them on this trip.  You seem to be slacking as you forgot to mention Beeches Hole, Barton Shelter and Wolf Den.

Isn't Crook Peak Rift just a trench, so not really a cave...

You may be right, not actually pinned it down, (don't own a gps, not rich enough)
as you get towards the summit of Crook Peak there is a shallow groove, perhaps it is Crook Peak Rift,
a little nearer the summit, usually in very dense brambles, is  a rift, next to a little escarpment,
with a minute cave.  ::)

Ah, I thought the groove was Crook Peak Rift. The rift at the summit sounds more like a rift  :LOL:

White Cliff Cave is one of Mendip's lesser known through trips,
three known entrances, actually, nice spot for a picknick. :beer:
