In an attempt to extend the current record for the above, a site in East Cornwall was pushed last weekend but failed to reacho reach the required length (20m) to beat the current length. As we have so far been unable to trace the landowner the exact site is not given here, although nearby woods appear to be owned by the Duchy of Cornwall. I had been told many years ago that local kids used to explore a cave in the area which contained stals, which doesn't match the description of what we saw - a tight muddy tube leading to a very tight squeeze, followed by a chamber with no real way on. Not surveyed on this occasion but length estimated at 16m.
