Oldest New Kit?

As some of you will know the brief history of Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation involved small 'lockers' of kit in various corners of the Peak caving areas which inevitably led to box's of miscellaneous kit moving around and sitting on our shelfs in Buxton.

Whilst our equipment team were sorting through said box's we discovered, Brand New and Unopened a 1" safety belt from the 1950's!

What's the oldest piece of kit you have that's never been used?

Wonder if this is army surplus... only match for a search for those initials comes up with radio direction finder - coastal defence, which which would fit with it being a linesman's belt, early radar stations had tall aerial masts and were replaced in the 1950's by more modern equipment.
