Caves of County Clare and South Galway is a comprehensive guide to the caves of the region. The book contains descriptions of all caves known at the time of first publication in 2003.

The book provides an overview of the geology, geomorphology and hydrology of the Burren and the Gort Lowlands, and has detailed descriptions of all cave systems, large and small, divided up by geographical areas: the Western Burren, the High Burren and outlying areas such as the Aran Islands, East Clare and the Ennis Area.

As the guidebook has been out of print for several years, and with the next, expanded, edition not due out until 2019, the Society's Centenary year, the UBSS has produced what is believed to be a first in the caving world - an eBook containing all original information, including maps, surveys and photographs.

It is an essential guide for any caver planning to visit the area.

I purchased a copy Friday and can wholeheartedly recommend it..
Looking at the broader picture its a great idea to make out of print guides available like this...saves paying ridiculous collectors type prices on ebay when all you want is the content to plan trips with...
