Hello cavers - we hope you're not feeling too cooped up at the moment!

Fundraising is difficult for us at the moment and we are thankful for the generosity that many have shown to us.

We are grateful to Susan Osborne, artist, writer and member of the Red Rose Cave and Pothole Club (RRCPC), who has donated a hand-crafted, sculpted miniature caving scene to be auctioned to raise funds for CRO. This is a one-off original creation and the artist is hopeful that any bidders will be kind enough to consider not just the talent but the innumerable hours of patience and skill that went into crafting this piece. After all, the proceeds are going to a very worthy cause!

Between now and midnight on Sunday 14th March we?re giving you the opportunity to send us your bids. Interested? Here?s what happens next:

? Send us a private message to our Facebook page (@CaveRescueOrganisation) with your bid ? because of the time and effort that has gone in to this artwork there is a reserve on it and we?ll let you know as soon as the bidding passes it.

? Each evening we will update our Facebook page with the current highest bid (names will not be disclosed)

? The winning bidder will be contacted on 15th March

We hope that cavers in particular will be interested in this auction. Happy bidding and hopefully the overall winner will enjoy this work of art for many years to come.
