Really cave photography could not be simpler. I was digging yesterday and between capping sessions took some very quick photos with the Yongnuo set as slave and the battered old TG 2. Certainly some good potential with this set up if more time was used.

Yongnuo 660.

Pre set at 1/16 flash power and 28mm spread.  Slave set as S1. About right for a chamber this size.

TG2

Just used on Programme Auto with flash set at fill in. I used the flash excluder box a couple of times but it was not really necessary. Helmet light helps with a little fill in. Because the slave flash was more powerful than the camera flash back scatter was not a problem. With the TG2 alone back scatter was awful.

Some cropping can be used to eliminate any peripheral over or under exposure.

Note the model slaving away shifting boulders while the OR is swanning about with his camera ::)
