Whats on

With less than 2 weeks left before Cavefest 2019, the preparations are all but complete.

Our team of volunteer guides have prepared themselves to lead some exciting trips, ensuring your experience is one to remember.
The caves of choice, and requested trips have been quite varied this year and we look forward to hearing about your explorations at the bar.
Each morning will give cavers the chance to meet their leaders and discuss the trip ahead. It is also recommended as this is a great time to swap if you choose.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER THAT SOME TRIPS ARE WEATHER DEPENDANT AND COULD BE CANCELLED WITH LITTLE NOTICE.

We have also opened our photo competition for entries and the raffle prizes are on view. For all the info you need to win the prizes on offer, just follow the link.

Also, dont forget the fancy dress competition during our mexican night. Saturday night could see you winning more amazing prizes. For more information, just follow the link to and say you're going.

Didn't realise the Carbis Bay Crew would sell out to BigSpeleo like this?! #shocked

Also are the crazy golf holes deep enough to count as going beyond the limit of daylight?

I have signed up for caving trips and paid for camping (I assume no bunk house accom is available)

I just want to know what facilities are on site. I.e. I know there is a bar, but would I be able to get breakfast and tea on site, or is there places nearby?

Thanks.

Hi there.
Onsite will be parking close to the campsite and ample room to offload the car very close to the tents.
We have 2 food vendors available throughout the festival  They will be open from 7am til about 10pm

There are two shower blocks available for men and women but they are changing room showers and open plan. There is a small private shower available for disabled access and possibly others.
The Chelsea speleology society are also offering their facilities for cavers on the escarpment.

We will also be supplying an onsite bar during the evenings and the marquee will offer a range of entertainment throughout the weekend.

Locally, both Abergavenny and Crickhowell offer all the amenities you could need.

We look forward to seeing you at Crickhowell.
