I tend to use river level monitoring stations to judge conditions, rather than rainfall which can be very misleading on it's own. Whilst not Castleton, i find this is the best source as it's still quite local and an almost entirely limestone catchment:

They weren't on Saturday Rob - there was water flowing into the short bypass and waterfalls in Block Hall. The mucky ducks were low but from Buxton Water everything was pretty deep Peak side too
