Just thought I'd share these words from the next generation of cavers.
My elder son was talking with me about where he would like to go caving next time.
'I like Wales', he said.
'Why's that', I asked.
'I like the cottage'.
'Oh. What was good about it', I asked.
'The stairs. And the smell'.
'What did it smell like, son'.
'Old people'.
Pause while I let this sink in.
'And what do old people smell like'.
'Soap'.
