Body of teen discovered - police statement
We are saddened to report that earlier today, police officers discovered the body of a 15 year old girl in woodland in Tanygrisiau, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

This followed a call received by police at 8.24am, reporting a concern for safety for a local girl.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee Boycott said: ?The circumstances of this tragic incident are not being treated as suspicious, and the local coroner has been informed.

?I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family, and I would request that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.?
