I'm going to Sardinia in May and I plan to go canyoning. I've bought the canyoning guide, alas all in Italian and was wondering if anyone has been canyoning in Sardinia? Am interested in finding out what type and how good the ancors are and which canyons are the best bet, I will need pull through trips due to weight restrictions on the flight.

Lots of great Canyons, you need to get hold opf the book "Canyoning nel Mediterraneo" in Italian but the topos are international. There are seven good trips written up in Sardinia and all are bolted up I think. Gorropu is the big one, 6km - 395m, lots of other in the general Dorgali area.
