Joint Service Caving Handbook

Does anyone have a copy of the Joint Service Caving Handbook, JSP 432, that they would like rid of, or anyone got any idea where I might find one? It's for a present, but it's out of print, and good old Google is coming up with nothing. Condition not hugely important (ideally in one piece though!) Thanks!

You could try asking the Ministry of Defence for a copy under the Freedom of Information Act. Other 'JSP's have been released this way. I don't see why a caving techniques manual would have any security risk to prevent its public release. Likely this would be electronic, but you could print and bind a paper copy as a gift.

Alternatively try asking the Combined Services Caving Association.

Let us know how you get on  :coffee:

Just wanted to update on this: I tried contacting the CSCA but they never got back to me :( oh well, thanks for the suggestions anyway!

Sorry. Looks like I deleted my copy a while ago (when it was replaced by the 'Caving Aide Memoire').

Connor roe may be able to help. Don't have any contact details for him, but bratch maybe able to point you in the right direction? I could be barking up the wrong tree though.
