PSM - Accomodation

Does anyone have any experience of renting the gites or other up at the PSM ski station?
Prices and contact details would be useful.

Anyone stayed at the ARSIP hut ? again prices and some feedback on this would be good.

We normally use the campsite down at St Engrace, but although this is excellent, the drive up and down each day is a pain.

We're not doing the PSM but another cave entrance very nearby to the station itself.

Thanks

Don't know about the gites at the ski station but if you do stay at St Engrace you could try the Burguburu gite opposite the old church.  It was recommended to us and we had a fab stay there this Easter.

Hi,

The Arsip gite is very basic but well enough for cavers. I used the gite several times when on expedition in september.

Price 5? : http://s391384129.onlinehome.fr/arsip/index.php/preparer-son-sejour/6-hebergement.html

In summer months I stay on the camping Ibarra at Saint - Engrace, a very caver friendly camping :)

This camping also has a few gites, see the site for prices

Imo I would go for camping Ibarra during the summer months. There are always other cavers / canyoneers on the camping. My club (Sc Avalon) will be staying there from 1/8 to 22/08 for the summer Anialarra expedition. It's a ride up of about 20 minutes from Saint-Engrace to the ski station

From 12/09 till 26/09 we will be staying in the Arsip gite for the september expedition.

Ps What / When are you going to do near the PSM station?

I'd also endorse the camping Ibarra campsite.
We had the best part of 2 weeks there in 2013.

Cheers,
Graham.
