Circumstances have forced us to delay the "Matienzo Caves Project: 2010 - 2019" book. The publication date is now 27th November which is just in time for Xmas presents! The good news is that the content will not be too much out-of-date. The book has turned out to be 510 A4 pages with indices - quite a hefty volume. The price is likely to be ?25 with discounts for contributors and free to authors of more substantial articles and collaborators.
Packing and postage is likely to be around ?10 - so "agents" are being recruited around the country to sell within clubs, etc to keep the cost down. Payment by bank transfer will be the preferred payment method. Some copies may go to caving shops.

Please let me know by email or on this page:
1: If you want to reserve a book or books
2: If you can take a box of books and act as an "agent"

Further details will be posted nearer the publication date.

How many books in a box
Short answer - I don't know. Long answer - probably 7 or 8 as this tome is one and half times thicker than the last Matienzo book.  :-\

Finally available.  :)
A new dual-language book about the speleology around Matienzo - "Matienzo Caves Project 2010 - 2019" edited by Juan Corrin and translated by Carolina Smith de la Fuente was published at the end of 2020. The volume is A4 format and has 518 pages - weighing 2.2kg!. The back cover English blurb reads:

Cavers have been exploring and documenting caves around Matienzo, in Cantabria, since the 1960s. There are now over 5000 sites of speleological interest ranging from small, draughting holes to the 67km-long Four Valleys System. This dual language book covers the last 10 years of exploration, 2010 - 2019, and is fully illustrated with maps, cave surveys and photos. More than 30 authors and 80 photographers have contributed, providing in-depth accounts of the explorations and scientific investigations, including palaeo-climate research, cave life, cave diving and archaeology updates, personal reminiscences and a full account of the expeditions? work over the decade.

The book is available from Inglesport or Starless River and direct from me, juancorrin@matienzo.org.uk for ?26 plus p&p. There are cuurently five agents (Nigel Dibben, Bill Nix, Tony Radmall, Tony Haigh and Steve Martin) who can supply a copy when travel restrictions are lifted.
