Hi Simon,

Do you mean these?

http://www.spareair.com/

If you're after one some easy sump diving you would be better off buying a pony cylinder setup like this:

http://www.godive.net/gdspec1.htm#PONSET

I personally wouldn't use the spareair canister even in open water.. Mind you I would drain it dry after two breaths

Kind Regards

Cheers for the information Pinch, i take it a 'pony cylinder setup' is basically a diving set which includes all the items needed to dive.

Hiya Simon.

Yep that's it.. a pony setup is a small cylinder, usually 3ltr with a valve, 1st stage and regulator, handy for small sumps.. It might just get you to the china shop... but not sure about the return journey  I have a few small cylinders in various sizes from 1ltr upwards..

Hope this helps

Simon,

If you are interested in cave diving I strongly recommend that you get in touch with the Northern Section CDG, their contact details are on the CDG website. I promise that they don't bite - well not all of them !

With regard to Boreham, my understanding is that there is no access at the site nor has there been for a number of years. The CDG northern section would be able to fill you in on the details as to why this is the case.

Safe caving.
