Billy Smart's Flying Hula Hoop Trapeze Act liked to practice away from the public gaze.

it was surprising just how much rubbish there was.
Some of it was digging gear, some rigging equipment, but what the 3 ugly yellow gnomes were doing down there was anyone's guess

Despite Tim's best efforts the clean up was a mix between a pantomime and a farce and that was before Mick became the Lord of the Rings!

Everyone was grateful someone was doing something about the problems of the past and the team were justly proud of their record for cleaning up caves.
Fortunately due to their old digging records the team could look good for some years to come!

Even if you can't make Kendal this year, you could always enter the caption competition and if you win give your ticket to a fellow caver who can make the festival!   ;)

Apologies in advance for bringing the humour down to this level, but I couldn't resist.
Also as I cannot go at the weekend I may just get myself moderated or blocked from the forum ruling myself out from consideration anyway.

The trip was turning into a Classic British Comedy.
There were double Entendre's everywhere -
Mick's ring was playing him up.
Tim had hidden his helmet.
Joe was almost at the top of the pitch and ready to pull himself off.
What a "Carry On"!
