Dear Fellow Karst Geoscientists,
About 6 years I noticed an upsurge in cave and karst sessions and papers at the Geological Society of America (GSA) conventions, and began thinking that I couldn?t afford to miss GSA conventions. That continues to be true this year with seven karst sessions plus two that are specifically soliciting karst papers within their broader topics. Two of the karst sessions are sponsored by the National Cave and Karst Research Institute, but all should be excellent. The nine sessions are summarized below. For more information about the sessions visit:
http://www.geosociety.org/meetings/2010/sessions/topical.asp
You can submit your abstracts for the sessions at:
http://www.geosociety.org/meetings/2010/techprog.htm.
The deadline is 10 August 2010. GSA Convention will be in Denver this year from 31 October through 3 November. Details are available at:http://www.geosociety.org/meetings/2010/
