Not sure what this Ebay seller thinks they're playing at, but for a second hand copy of CoPD they're asking almost double what you'd pay DCA for a brand new one?

My brother once said to me, put everything you own on eBay for a price you wouldn?t mind parting with it for. I don?t think he lives by this, but I hope it?s the motto which this ebayer is using!
During lockdown people were asking (and getting) silly money for eg old Lima stuff. Now they are back to some sort of normality the stuff's getting sold and the clowns want what they payed for it.
Some things get "sold" on various platforms even if goods never actually get exchanged. It is sometimes used as a way of making dirty money appear clean.
I'm not saying that is the case in this instance but it does happen.
I seem to remember a copy of The Castleton Mines going up for an insane amount, even though you could still buy it from me for ?25 - I did wonder if there was some ulterior motive for that, as it was absurd. This is more like it - although they seem to have forgotten to mention the author

I have new copies for ?20 via my website or phone and have it for sale on Amazon at ?28 because of their fees and charges are so punitive. I drop as big a hint as allowed by my supplier name as moorebooks.uk. Thats unfortunately the way Amazon and ebay have tied up the market even the secondhand book trade is owned ultimately by them
